This might be a really stupid question but I'm new to this, so any help is much appreciated.
I'm trying to insert a flash button into dreamweaver 8. All has gone well, but to use the button I have to click it twice before it will take me to another page. Is there an option somewhere that on one click it will go to another page? Or is there anywhere on dreamweaver/fireworks that has a back arrow button image that is not a flash one? i cant seem to find anything in the buttons menu.

How are you putting the flash button into your html ?? Are you using the <embed> tag ? If so, you will have to change that to one of these methods:
