My wife's family owns a business and will buy me a copy of Dreamweaver (which I get to keep so I can redo my own site), if I build them a website for their business. One thing they need to do is to update some basic info from their bidders each morning, but they don't want to have anything to do with managing the site. My question is this:

Is there a way that they can go to the site and be able to update some generic info (name, address, phone #, etc) of their bidders (customers), so they wouldn't have to rely on me to do it for them? (i.e. can they just go to their site and input data on a form or something (password protected) instead of having me update the site everyday). Hopefully this isn't too confusing. I can clarify if needed.

Thanks,

Something like that, you'll be better off going with a scripting language such as php or asp and a database backend. That way you can have the form input data into the database and save changes that way.

I'm not familiar with the advanced workings of dreamweaver, but I don't think you'll be able to get the type of user-friendly update features you're wanting with just dreamweaver alone.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with that, is there something that can show me how to do that?
