Which is ok. Nothing wrong with that.
The thing is, usually when you get a free solution, you need to tweak it so that it will work for your situation. This requires knowledge of what is making things work. Most likely php.. If you have no knowledge of php, it is dificult to use a solution that is free. Especially for a forum of that magnitude.
Your best solution is vBulletin...
