I have a problem because if I resize the window with my site it's all messed up...it's liked squshed...for example if you resize Webmaster Talk window in witch you're browsing its all nice...maybe it's the matter of the scroll bar witch apears in resizing Webmaster talk and dosent on my page...

When you specify the widths for things do you use " px " or " % "

using pixels will smash up the window. With percents it auto resizes to fit the browser window.

its not on the web yet...I wouldn't put anything on the web witch is'nt close to perfection...anyway everything is made in "%" so i think its not the matter of "px"..I'll paste in the code as soon I get home.

It's difficult to see what you mean unless we can see something. Can you post your code here?

Your container div is 100% and that will account for your page width. Give your "left" div a fixed width so that the navigation column will not resize with the rest of the page. Give your main content a position relative to the left content.

Also watch the padding. You have 100% of content Plus padding of 14% on the main text. This might be causing some issues in IE.

I am by no means an expert and am still learning myself so any one here is welcome to correct me.

Do you have a url we can look at?

Also if you aren't using Firefox already, get - the developers toolkit allows you to see css/padding/div problems easily.
