I was wondering, I was doing searches on Google, and I heard about Adsense and other affliate programs one can partake in, but I was also searching online, and something about "Making Money Blogging" came up. And apparently I saw "Self-help" sites indicating that when used in a rather strategic fashion, one can make some good income on putting Ads on Blog sites.

What's your take on this?

Well, exept for the obviously overdone adsense ads, i cant think of anything else exept for maybe being the hoster of the blog which is something you have already said. Some people want full control over their blog or just plain dont know about the free ones.

Even if they know about the free ones, do the free ones put web designers out of business?

WE all know one can go out and find a hosting service and build their own website.....but they aren't putting web designers out of business.

Even though people say, "Well, I have MySpace, I don't want a regular website" that's them...but even since those "Free" hosting services existed, it has not made web designers obsolete.
