Long time reader / guest. First time asking.

Does anyone know how to designate or assign / change the icon in the browser window?

If you look up at the browser window, you will see that a small icon or reduced version of webmaster talk's logo is inserted before the http address.

If an image is not designated, the default ie logo is there.

I was wondering where I can designate that particular image.
Perhaps in the meta tags?

Code would be appreciated. HTML prefered.

Would that go in the meta's and would I replace "shortcut icon" with the url to my image?
What about "favicon.ico"

code you must place in head tags, url you must place in parameter href like this:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.mysite.com/myicon.ico" />

do not change anything in rel parameter
