I've validate my css on W3C site but it keeps cominig up with a warning that I don't have a background-color......I wanted to get the validation mark on my site and I cant because somehow validation system dosent "see", or sth. that the bg. color is set ...any ideas??

Per the specs, if you specify a foreground color for your text, you should be defining a background color for the element that is holding the text. This is a common 'warning' from the validator but it doesn't mean your code isn't valid. It's a warning.. mostly for accessiblity purporses, that you SHOULD be defining a background color. Unless it says 'this is NOT valid css', then use the marker.

Maybe if you posted a link to the site we could actually see what you've got.

First of all get your HTML to validate

then read the error at the w3c css validation site http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/v...usermedium=all

you are using styling in your html, always bad. HTML is used to build the site not style it... hence the reason for CSS. If you need any help with this feel free to PM me.

There will be some problem in your coding and i think we can define bg color in two places
1 inside css tags
2 inside html body tag
so check out in detail
