Hello!

This is one thing that drives me crazy, to try to make a good print. I try to create a cd booklet front in photoshop with the measurement 584x584 pixels, just like Nero Cover Designers template size. But when I print the image from example Irfanview in original size, the picture is much bigger then it is supposed to be, not able to fit into a cd cover at all. But if I try to fit the image into Cover Designers template I get the correct size, but the text is mosaic pixeled. It doesn't look like the good quality of the original image on the monitor. I use a new and very good printer and nice photo paper, but I guess I dont understand the basics of going from screen to paper. Can someone maybe explain the basics to me? I noticed that some cd fronts you can download on the net are extremly large in size. Why is that?

Best regards
Daniel

When you create your cover art in Photohshop, what do you have set for the DPI ??
Anything less than 150dpi is going to print like crap. ideally you want a LEAST 200dpi for a decent print.

Then you have to know what size image Nero's cover designer can handle. If all it can handle is low-res graphics, then any image created in PS at 200dpi is going to appear really huge in Cover Designer if it's using 72dpi.
