Hope someone can offer me some advice here. Go easy with the tech talk though - I'm a complete novice! Our website is built in Flash. We have a database built in where customers can search for their nearest dealer. My problem is that some people are only viewing the search results but not the actual listing of contacts. I've asked our web guy about it and suggested to him that I think it might be browser related. It works fine in explorer but seems to have problems in Mozilla Firefox for example. Our designer has suggested putting an alert to users so that they will be aware of the problem, but I'm not all that happy about that considering the amount of money we're spending! Obviously he's got the advantage because he's got the tech expertise and we don't. Any suggestions would be really welcome! Thanks

Just so I've got this straight...

You've got a website that's built entirely in Flash.
You have a page that can prepare a list of search results.
You've got a second page that lists the contact details.
And Firefox doesn't display the information?

If this is the case, your designer should fix the problem rather than band-aid it with an alert. He also never should have built the thing in Flash in the first place. Flash should never be used for entire websites.

At the risk of saying something you really don't want to hear, it sounds on the surface as if you've paid for a lemon.

What's the site?
