Just in the final throes of moving to FRANCE! and am looking to build a site which I can build with FRENCH as well as English wording.

But where do I start?? Is it possible to do something like this? And if so what is the best way to go about it?

I am a complete numpty at this, BUT I have a LOT of books and all the determination I need!!

Lots of sites offer multiple languages. In most cases, they provide a button or link that gives you a choice of languages. I've never really looked at how they were doing it, but it could just be duplicate pages, 1 in each language.

Certainly do-able.

Your intentions are bright but inorder to have a website text content
translateing into French that is some thing which is equally challenging
but rewarding on the other end. So my point is, if you go with this
French version of a website then must have serious French content
writing attributes. Because at the end of a day you'll be going to
compete in SE arena and their content does matter.

Choice is yours!
