Hi guys,

I have real issues and am not sure where to start, I downloaded a Flash template and for the life of me I cannot get to edit it, I want to change it so that it displays different information and logos etc.

I have tried using Frontpage and Dreamweaver but it just doesnt seem to work, the last time I did any webpage was in 1997 and this seemed alot easier.

I really need walking through this or a step by step guide if anyone can help, I am good at following instructions.

To give you some idea of what I have got so far, there are 5 folders, namely,

CONTAINING

1. FLASH 3 files .fla
2. HTML 6 shockwave files and 1 Index.HTML + 1 Scripts folder
3. PSD 1 file .psd
4. FONTS 6 files
5. JPEGS 1 file template.jpg

Any ideas anyone, can I be helped

For editing FLA (Flash files) You need Macromedia Flash
For editing PSD (Photoshop files) You need Photoshop

Thanks for that, I have done a bit more research now, its going to be complicated isnt it?

I was hoping that there would be some really wizzy people on this forum who could have helped me out but it seems no one wants to respond, anyone?

Am I in the wrong forum section for help, or is it that you proffessional web builders believe you should do it yourself i.e. you dont like teaching.

Editing the Flash file would require that we have the original FLA file AND all the files/graphics you want to add to it/change out.

There are plenty of wizzy people here, but what you're asking for is not that simple. If you and I were physically in the same room, I could help you make your changes, but it's extremely difficult to do remotely, especially in a forum like this.
