Hello. I have a question (I posted a similar question in the flash section, not knowing which was best). I have been using dreamweaver for years, but I'm relatively new to flash. I made a movie in motion that I would like to use as a flash intro to a webpage. I can export it from motion as quicktime or as flash video. Both look great when I put them on the webpage, but they won't go away. My first thought was to stack the movie in a layer and make it invisible once the movie was over (it's 10 seconds), so I put the layers on the timeline, and showed the other layers and hid the movie after ten seconds had elapsed. The movie stayed and the actual page did not show (I did this with both flash video and quicktime). I also tried moving the movie layer, covering it with another layer, and a few other foolish things  . I've never used flash to make an intro that automatically disappears before, and this file is flash video, in any case, and while it will open in flash, I can't seem to edit it. If anyone has any ideas about how to make the movie play (in any format) and then go away, I would be ever so grateful. Thank you so much. |
