I need help with a strange issue, all of a sudden my FTP settings for all of the web sites I manage are not saving. Each time I make changes and try to upload I get a message FTP cannot connect. I go into my settings and the user name/password are blank. I put in the proper info and it works fine. But when I close DW and go back they are missing again. I have never had this problem before, but's its very frustrating and time consuming. Has anyone ever heard of something like this??

make sure that you have have the save password field checked.

There may be a setting in the options about remembering passwords.

Sometimes ( I read about it), DW built-in FTP could cause problems, like Yours.

Simply solution!
Use FTP standalone application like Cute FTP or WS_FTP. It is much better and much safe.

I usually use it all the time, however, there have been some times when there's nothing but problems.
