templatebox has some nice looking free templates as well as paid ones

basically all the design companies like to give some for free to attract traffic and maybe a few sales

And most of the suffer from the SAME problem.. they all LOOK like templates, and most are still based on tables for layout.... NOT modern web design methods.

You can check for free web templates here. There are a lot of templates grouped in different categories.

@LadynRed you are right, most site are recycling the same kind of templates, there are a few that have nice templates without tables

I always find great templates, but the second I edit something, it looks rubbish. The things that make it look good like the buttons and pictures aren't what I want so have to lose them or recreate them, and i'm not good with art.
