Hell everyone - this is my first post, I just have a quick question.

I want to create a form where the site visitor will fill in the appropriate fields, hit submit, and it will send the contents of the fields to me in an e-mail and direct the visitor to a page saying something like "Thank you for your submission..."

Now I did some searches and just found some HTML stuff that would make the form so when the user clicked sumbit it just pulls up your default e-mail application with the contents of the e-mail in it and then you send the e-mail, but I want it like I explained where it automatically will e-mail me the contents.

My question is how do I do this? What type of coding do I need? And should I ask this in a more specific forum?

I could be wrong, as I don't have very much experience with this, but I believe that those kind of forms are controlled by the "action" within the post method code. That's all I know, though... sorry I'm not much help, I'm new here too.
