Transferring Static HTML to CMS style?

I am looking for advice to switching my current static HTML site to a database (PHP/MySQL) type of CMS type site.

Here's the site I currently have, and am going to start the transfer over the holidays. (http://www.bachloyalist.com)

I want to have the ability to "edit" the site via a browser, vs. editing the site, and republishing via FP2003.

Any suggestions? I've looked at Joomla, but to complicated for what I'm looking for. Any good suggestions, that I can keep a professional look? A good example would be: http://www.timbuk2.com

Thanks in advance for any advice...

I think Joomla it's your best bet. It seems complicated at first but if you're willing to learn is not too hard.

Moreover there's a big community and a good forum to support.
