Im new to webdesign and I uploaded a site to a new shared hosting server and wanted to test the site in my browser by the IP Address since I have not moved my names servers yet. Is the anyway I can do this?

Do you have an IP dedicated to just YOUR site ? Since you're using shared hosting, you'll need the IP for the main server, then you'll need to know the name of the location on that server.. something like xx.xx.xx.xx/Mysitefolder

or you can do this take the servers IP. If it's shared then do http://XXX.XX.XX.XX/~username (keep the ~)

If its a dedicated IP then just type your IP.

This is correct. Scripts may not work but html pages should display with no problem.

Contact your hosting, they should be able to give you the correct url.
