on the website, it works fine in windows xp, ie 6 and above.

In Windows 98 with IE 5.5 the words in link tabs (on the left) are very tiny. They look like a line cannot see the text.
I am not sure what is wrong, but I suspect the choice of font resizing.
I would like it to work on most browsers.

I am trying to make it a universal site for all browsers see.

Your code is so buggy no wonder it doesn't work. w3.org html validator reported 129 errors. So take care of those first and when the code is ok begin testing...if you don't know from where to find the validator: http://validator.w3.org/

Remember that xhtml doesn't allow capitalized letters (it does in element atributes, but it's always safer to use only small caps). (A isn't the same as a etc.)

You're breaking so many XHTML rules, I suggest you either learn what they are, or drop back to HTML 4.01 Strict.

In XHTML, ALL tags MUST be closed.. every <br />, every <img> and every <meta> tag .. among other things.

We really need to see the CSS that goes along with that code, any number of things could be causing your font size problems.
