Hi all...

...Basically I want to have some links (images) open into a new browser window that opens only to the size of the image.

Linking them into a new window has been easy... but I'd really prefer them not to open in a maximised version of the browser... I'm using Dreamweaver3.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There were some old DW extensions that would open a window the way you want to. http://www.projectseven.com/extensions/index.htm

I have to ask though, WHY must you open a new window ?? It's generally not a good idea and there are other methods you could use that are far better.

I'm guessing that you can't afford the upgrade to a newer version of DW. My recommendation would be to learn to do all your coding WITHOUT DW, and learn CSS while you're at it.

You need some simple Javascript.

Hey... no luck.. maybe I'm not familiar enough with java script... and although the extension sounded gread i couldn't get it to install... will try again later with the help of a friend.

I did realise however that perhaps this would be better posted in the HTML forum, as thats most likely what I'd be comfortable editing.

I've got the extensions sorted out and this solved the problem as suggested.
