Hey guys,
I recently got a job to do a site for a local bed & breakfast and the only word they can use to describe what they want is RUSTIC. I'm having a heck of a time trying to fins sites on the web that could be seen as rustic, as I usually like look at other sites to get inspired. Do you guys know of any websites whose design might be seen as rustic? or country, or even western?

thanks in advance

That's a toughie -- you need to sit down with the client and get a more definitive description about "their RUSTIC style" ... are they looking for chuckwagon; on-the-range; TX cattle rustling; etc.

You get the picture by now -- show them numerous similar sites; define exactly what they want; and refine it from that point.

Thats really going to be tough to understand what actually your client would like to see on his site. But as you asked I can show you some of the country templates available around the net and might be you can show it your client and get the idea, though these templates are not for proffesional designs

http://www.countrymanordesigns.com/c...templates1.htm

and few of designer examples could be found at Template monster.com in the urban category http://www.templatemonster.com/categ...or=0&x=29&y=16

Hope it helps you.

depends on what they think is rustic
you probably should have brainstormed ideas a little better prior to design process

maybe this will help:

a little more glam/rustic: http://www.dotcombuilder.com/templat...product_id=420

I wouldn't look for inspiration in other web designs
I'd visit the rooms and look for inspiration there
or at least ask client for pictures, and check out the warmth of the rooms

I'd definitely use browns, and other mid-tones, maybe some burgundy
but you should already know the client's taste in their colour scheme

good luck

I would consider rustic something like this:

http://tatteredfly.com/
http://fall.tnvacation.com/

If the site is a B&B, then the owners probably want their site to look warm and cozy. Take a look at the sites I listed. Also, search for other B&B web sites and see what you can find.

You might want to comb thru sites like this:
www.cssmania.com or www.stylegala.com for some inspiration.
