I'm trying to design a website for a friend's business. It's a pretty straight forward site, but one twist is that he wants to upload audio files to it every few weeks of recorded training seminars, conference calls, etc... Is there a way to set up the site where his secretary can upload the new audio's each week? And the site auto update with the new link to the audio? etc... ? I was going to do his entire site in flash, but i'm thinking it might be hard for them to upload stuff to it if it's all done in flash?

What you want is a PHP upload script. You can use a Google search for this and find multiple results.
If you need further help just PM me.

I'm sure you know the obvious choice is a script that can be accessed on a secure page on the site so knowone else can upload harmful files at will.

I'd see what free file upload scripts the host offers first, then check out hotscripts.com and do a search for "file upload" or "secure file upload".

Something I've done for my clients JFYI, is make a secure page only they can access that has the login and pass there, plus a link or the script itself. That way, all they have to do is login and upload the audio files.
