Hey guys

So me and few buddies needed some website suggestions, we want to make a website that either will bring in semi nice profit/can sell nicely or just a website that LOTS of people will like. We have me (I do web designing/graphic designing) my buddy (also graphic designer) and his buddy (extremely experienced programmer) so we have good web/graphic designer and very good programmer. I don't know what else to state so anyone have any suggestions we cannot think of anything...

well you have the resources available to make a good site, but you need to work out what subject to cover, if its something your not interested in it will show on the site

I can help you guy's out with Search Engine Optimisation to if it's required.

Work on something you love. Maybe a designers/ programmers site with a blog, forum ect?

What can be said has already been said; If you feel passionately about it, you should ask yourself whether you can wright 50-60 500-1000 word articles about that subject. If not, you will be relying 100% on outside people to write your content and the odds are that they will not only charge for their work but they will sell their work to others as well, which means your content will not be unique.

As well, there are a thousand ideas that can be implemented succesfully, what it really comes down to is (usually) not the uniqueness of the idea rather how well you market it. If I were you, I would come up with a large marketing budget and consider it an investment.
