Anyone ever buy and learning resources from Sitepoint? They look like they have some interesting titles there. Some of their books get good reviews on Amazon. They also have some "kits" that look really nice.

Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with Sitepoint.

Well they ain't cheap. For example the SEO kit is almost $150. You can have a fair bit of SEO done for $150 really

Whats your experience and which do you want to buy?

The kits are pricey, that's for sure.
Their books are EXCELLENT. I have several and I highly recommend a number of their books.

the "The Usability Kit" caught my eye. I just finished a book called "Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability". A very good book, but it was kind of short. I find the topic of usability to be sort of interesting.

Anyway, they do seem to have some nice books there. The book titled "Deliver First Class Web Sites: 101 Essential Checklists" really caught my eye. It might be a good read.

I would really like to find some books on the actual "process" of web design. That's my goal really. Sitepoint seems to have some nice titles in general though.

I can say from experience on there forums that the owners have it well planed. I'm sure it would be a good book and I'm probably going to personally buy me one.

I don't have any of their books myself, but I've always heard good things about them. The price usually keeps me away, but I have downloaded a few free chapters and they do look good. I feel confident saying the material will be good as long as you can justify the price.

It was keeping me away too, but A lot of their titles are on Amazon, sometimes as much as $10 cheaper. Man do I love Amazon.
