on a pc: CTRL-Print Screen, open Microsoft paint. Go to "EDIT" then "PASTE" and resize and crop it that way, save as a jpg or gif.

on a mac: apple-shift-4. use the cross hairs to crop out the part of the screen you want. Open the Picture1.pdf from your desktop in photoshop or another image manipulating program, resize and save as jpg or gif.

Paint good if you have nothing else, but very primitive image editor.

Use Photoshop, Photo Shop Pro, or any other Image editing software there are so many

or if you cant afford photoshop or Paint shop pro, then you can go for a free software like Gimp.

If the website is locally hosted:

1. printscreen
2. paste copied screen layout into any image program (paint, photoshop, fireworks, gimp etc)
3. crop image as you see fit
4. save

If the web site is hosted on the internet:

1. use a free web snapshot service such as http://www.webshotspro.com/
