Hi,

I have a form, and it's set up so when the user submits, its takes them to the thank you page. However, a form on a different website had the thank you message in a grey box in the middle of the screen, on top of the webpage. I'm not sure of the box name, but it has the title of Microsoft Internet Explorer. I can point you to an example if need be. If I know the box name or what I'm looking for I'm sure I'll find a script online...

Thank you,

Hayley

Once again, as proven 1000's of times, "theseokit" doesn't know how to solve problems, so he/"she" just babbles on and on.........

Show us a link to what you're referring to. Javascript is NOT the only way to get a 'thank you' page.

I did not say it was the only way, only that they have a free screen pop up.

And popups can be blocked. I do not allow ANY popups, so I'd never see a message generated via that method. Anyone with half a brain will have popups blocked in their browser.

Attached is a screen grab of the box I mean. It's not a pop-up as such.

Thank you.

Yes, that is javascript. You could do it using alert("") function or you could do it a little prettier with javascript + css by doing an InnerHTML into a div, then have the actual submit button within the div.
