I am building my site www.hudsonsworld.co.uk and i would like a gallery embedded into the gallery page with the existing design wrapped around it.
I have installed a gallery http://www.hudsonsworld.co.uk/gallery/

Would it be possible to have that gallery (or something like that) in my page?

This is my first attempt at doing a website of any kind, there is so much i dont know so any help or suggestions at all will be great.

I was about to start a thread with the same question. I have used search already.

I haven't been able to find any way to embed a gallery such as flickr, picasa, webshots into a website. Seems like I can only do this with a slideshow.

Plenty of image gallery scripts out there. http://gallery.menalto.com/ is one of the best. But i find this simple script for simple gallery is easy to customize with existing webpage layout. http://codewalkers.com/tutorials/53/1.html

^Thanks but I want to be able to upload images to photo gallery website like flickr or picasa. Don't want to use a script.

Got the solution (edit maybe): Use Picasa's RSS feed to embed your entire gallery into a website.

Go to my Picasa site for example. http://picasaweb.google.com/slafferty In the lower right click where it says RSS. Copy and paste that RSS code into your website. You'll have some code to clean up, but it works.

This is better than using the album link that picasa provides becuase this way you wont have to edit your html everytime you add a new album.

edit: I make mistake. I dont know why but the content isn't dynamic. Maybe the RSS thing needs time to update, I have no idea. I updated the album and my website hasnt changed.

Found my mistake. I have to include an RSS feeder script into my webpage (instead of copying the RSS script like i described above), then all should be well.
