Hey everyone,

I've started making a few templates and I'm having some trouble on this one (my 5th one so far).
So at first I had this - http://www.myrsblog.com/mystuff/oyermattpwnsagain4.png
Then I had this - http://www.myrsblog.com/mystuff/oyermattpwnsagain5.png (eased out the blurs in the background)
Then I had this - http://www.myrsblog.com/mystuff/oyermattpwnsagain6.png (changed the little ad to black)

So overall what else can I do to make it better and most of all how can I add color? There's way too much green at the moment and I don't know what to change without messing it up.

Thanks.

Have the top part of it blue and go into a green via a gradient maybe? That's about all I can come up with.

Start researching color theory. Read up on it a bit and then use tools such as this one...http://r0k.us/graphics/SIHwheel.html

You might also try looking for a color scheme here:
http://kuler.adobe.com/

You can search by color.

That is waaaay too much green. Temper it with a dark blue or browns maybe.

I am starting to see I should stick to programming because besides some font titles and the CMS thing I can't figure out what to change without messing it up more.
I think I should just scratch the whole idea. Any final comments?

Sorry to confuse you but I really like the design you have now ~ I say stick with it a little longer. It has a real Vista theme to it. It would look great if set to automatically load on a Full Screen.,... F11 Key on your keyboard to see what I mean

Reminds me of Windows XP Media Edition actually. Its cool
