ok! i got my website finally solved out, i now want to get a gallery going, i used irfranview thumbnailing program to setup thumbnails, html code, and the pictures, but problem is, HOW do u set it up on a website? :P also if no 1 knows, a link to a good program that CAN get me a photo gallery up on my site, and has a good help/tutorial so im not clue-less, would be also well appreciated

There's lots of different ways to set up an image gallery on a site. How might depend on what coding and/or programming languages you're familiar with or can use on your server.

If you search for 'image gallery' or 'photo gallery' and add a language there are plenty of results. You can also try a site like HotScripts, which will have some free solutions you'll probably have to modify somewhat as well as some pay solutions that might offer more functionality.

yep, ty, i didnt know what to search for! :P i found good program, all that, now my question is, WHERE on a website do u upload your "gallery folder" aka the folder containing the images, thumbs, and indexs? im unable to find any helpfiles, or descriptions helping with this! >_<

ok, hopefully someones up :P im having extreme difficulty linking a hyperlink to a image? im doing exactly what i need to do in the editor, but it refuse's to even attempt to go the link :/

I think we're going to need a little more information. If the image is uploaded to the server and you've got the correct path in the href on the link then everything should work.

Could you post the code for a link in question or a link to a page with a link that's not working? There's no way anyone is going to be able to tell you how the editor on the gallery script works since we don't know what gallery you're using. Even if we did know we might not be able to help that way if we're not familiar with it.

Posting code or a link to a live page will be the best way to get an answer.
