i haven't be doing web stuff in a long time. :-(. i work for a state agency and my assignment is to create a simple website for our organization. i have a particular design in mind but need to find a script that will allow for the navigation i have in mind. in a nutshell, this is what i want to do:

1st level navigation--in horizontal tab format

2nd level navigation-displayed as a horizontal menu under the tab

3rd level navigation-displayed as a drop-down menu.


a) i'd like to find a free script that will allow to do all. so far i've found scripts that do these things but separately.
b) the script also needs to be accesible and 508 compliant.

Any ideas as to find such script?

this is what i am talking about:
option 1 option 2 option 3 (level 1 horizontal tab menu)
option 3.1 | option 3.2 | (level 2 horizontal menu displayed under tab)
option 3.1.1 (level 3 displayed as a drop-down menu)
option 3.1.2
option 3.1.3

You don't necessarily need a script at all, you could do it all with CSS - AND it would be far more compliant and 508 accessible than a script.
