I was asked by the coordinator of the Helpers of Game Spy Arcade (GSA) to create a new layout for the helpers department at GSA. The mission is to create a better feel to the site that makes helpers want to use the site, and others to use it to apply to become helpers. It's going to be used as a source of networking, as their previous site was. They wanted to look different and "newer." So here's what I came up with. I basically 2.0'd it, and I need your opinions of what you guys think.

I do understand that the design is not fully complete, but I am merely looking for the opinions of the feel that I'm going with. If you're an artist and/or designer then you know what I'm talking about, so try to refrain from commenting on whether or not it's complete. All criticism is taken positively.
