Hi All
I'm just curious how many have installed Safari on win32. Is anyone able to compare it with the version on the Mac?
I've always used Konqueror to substitute for Safari (since I don't want to buy a mac) for testing at home since, they use the same rendering engine.

any comments?

Paul, I was the first to install it among my friends and my first comment is "I wasted 10 minutes". Lol. I tried the thing on my old Windows box and I don't think it deserves all the buzz it keeps getting.

It isn't fast as Firefox. It crashes without any warning. Its slow with more than 10 tabs. Much better than IE. But, its full of bugs and errors. I uninstalled it just 30 minutes after my review. Not worth keeping. Now surfing with my good ol' Firefox in Linux. Go Firefoxy !!

I installed it when I heard it was available.

I've never used a Mac, but on Windows I wasn't very happy with it. It seriously slowed down when running a bunch of tabs.

I like the skin on it. I haven't uninstalled it yet, but once they get some things worked out with it I'll upgrade & see how I really like it.

I really don't like it. It makes all the fonts look bold and all the bold font look really bold. However I am not used to mac text which is why everything seems bold to me.

At least now, I can check my JS and Ajax scripts on it.
But appart from that, FF is still my definitive browser

HI, after I download Safari and install it in my XP, I couldn't surf the web, It crashed and didn't work with my proxy server, besides it's very slow with local pages, like the localhost sites for example.

anyway, I was very happy when I knew that safari it was there for win, but after I test it, wow, not the same feeling here.

fonts are too clear, bright and big.
