Hello, I'm new to web design. I've been putting my menu in each html file I have, but I was wondering if there was a way to put the menu in just the index file and have external html files load in a specified area on the index page.

Do you know of anything like this? If so, can you lead me to any websites tutorials or websites with this style?

Yes, it's called server-side includes and you'll need at least PHP in order to use them effectively.
