Hello Everyone.
Does anyone know how to designate or assign / change the icon in the browser window?

If you look up at the browser window, you will see that a small icon or reduced version of webmaster talk's logo is inserted before the http address.

If an image is not designated, the default ie logo is there.

Code would be appreciated. HTML prefered.

The following code works for Firefox but not for IE.

Does anyone know the code that would work for IE?

These icons are called Favicons. Google "Favicon". Lots of info online on how to create them and how to place them in your code.

They're called FavIcons and are saved in the format of favicon.ico
Search Google for free Favicons or make your own, just remember to make it .ico

It can change automatically if you just upload the favicon to your site's root folder.

it does work I am using firefox but it displays on the taps rather than the bar with the close maximize minus buttons.
