Hello,

I'm starting down the road of giving my site a much needed update. If you look at it, you'll see why.

Short history: I had a full Flash site that was a pain to update. So it sat there unchanged for a few years. As my hits dwindled (why wouldn't they?) I realized I needed something more dynamic, so I just set up what I have. Though it isn't up to today's standards, it is very updatable and my hits have increased since the change. However, I don't want to stop there.

I'm a little behind the times in webdesign. I would date my knowledge sometime around 2000 or 2001 (even if my site looks more 90s).

What would be the best way to update my knowledge so I bring my site into 2007 (and hopefully beyond)?

Actually I must say standards wise your site is pretty up to date. Design wise it is slightly dated. You may want to research latest design trends "web 2.0" as most have dubbed it. Or even better, come up with your own design that is something new and different.
