Website Review and Suggestions

I recently update the look of my blog with new colors. Some people are telling me it looks good and others are telling me it looks like sh**. Please give me your honest opinion.

I like it but I don't like the red and it looks bland because of black I think you should use a color scheme generator so your page is not bland a balances well.

i'm one of those who loves red, black and white and/or grey's together, but there IS something missing...and the green bullets don't fit into the colors scheme, IMHO. It's like, "where did that green come from??"

I don't know...maybe a very understated background or something ???

I like the layout. I am not liking the shade of red that's there. The green bullets with the red are making me think of presents and mistletoe.
