Website Review and Suggestions

I built this site for my family owned apple orchard. It's not finished but fairly complete, please let me know what I can do to make it better. It has been up for a number of months now and is listed in google and when using certian keywords shows in the top 20 listings, but does not recieve a page rank on google and suggestions as to why ? I submitted a sitemap to google as well. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bit Zero. Your site is generally quite good. One thing that could be improved is the contact page - a contact form would probably be better than the 2 oversized email links. The contact form could have a drop down box to choose where it is sent to, and this could be achieved via PHP.

Regarding toolbar PR, I would have thought that you as a web designer would have realised public PR is a waste of time:

As your site is ranking well, then PageRank is even more of a waste of time!

Thanks Whym for the review and suggestions. Since I'm not finished with this site I think I will add a contact form instead of e-mail links.

I like the site! Very elegantly designed!

This is the kind of site that gives you an overview already of what's inside just by seeing the home page.

On your query about PR, link building is the key. Having high PR is good only for selling links to other sites. But as what WHYM mentioned, it is a waste of time for the kind of site you have. You should just focus more on your SERP through keyword optimization, meta tags, etc. as this works best for selling products and services.

Superb work with very elegantly design. Logo is just cool. You can come to know what's inside just by seeing the home page. You can have a contact form instead of e-mail links.

Thanks guys for the reviews I definitly will use forms instead of e-mail links on the contact page.
