The site

I have recently launched this unique webiste. This is an online database where visitors can report received scam letters to. Visitors can do so by signing up for an account and add these letters directly into the database, or alternatively forward it to an email address. The site can also be used by law enforcement agencies to conduct investigations on.

The database

The database is fully automated. The visitor simply copy and paste the scam letter with full headers into a box and click a submit button. Certain information are parsed from the letter, such as IP addresses, names, emails and numbers.

Search Results

Search results are unique. When a visitors clicks on a scam letter heading all results in the database are linked visually. There are also various methods on which searches can be conducted.

The database was created for public and law enforcement use as it is a great tool for investigation purposes as well.

Is allowing people to use your site to send scam letters such a good idea? This would give scammers an easier way to send such emails without being able to track it back to them.

Hi

Its not to send them, its to add them to a database where other people are warned and scam letters are linked.
