I wouldn't use it, but in general I don't have a lot of use for feeds. My biggest issue is that the content can be grabbed directly from the source of a feed, so it's not the best solution for an end user.

What we do is that we use tens of thousands of sources and put them together, not just by keywords, but topic structure, similarity and many other factors.
