Website Review and Suggestions

Hey everyone, put up yet another website, http://rhymeswithpoo.741.com/index.html check it out and let me know what you think. I only have 4 pages up so far but I'm working on my site around the clock, theres only a 1 meg limit since i havent upgraded yet so once i have everything will open on the same page

i love working with flash.

try taking out the index.html it looks good but the banners take up to much of the header

The website looks very cartoony, which seems to fit in with what you want. I like the graphics personally, just cause they look sort of nuts but aren't hard to read. The right table column with the poll doesn't really fit in with the rest of the site though. It has a very flat look compared to the left side's cartoony. The only other thing is that the border to the table loopks a little out of place. That main part of the site on the left looks good though.

File Not Found! - not great start - hate sites that pop up windows i have to close & this one tried to install something too. Not great start at all. Once i read previos comments & took out index.htm file .....

mmm what to say. i guess if its free hosting you are stuck with adverts - shame.
colors ok but very in your face - which isnt a compliment.
buttons - consider diff style for mouseover state as button switches & looks like its out of sync. It isnt its just combination of drop shadow etc moving. maybe use flat version with diff color text for downstate of button. Im a fan of bravenet so their mail list is a good plug in but not sure I got the overall content idea - guess it has its audience tho so good luck with it. But do maybe rethink colors a bit.

christ! lol..the blue in the beginning almost gave me an epileptic fit.

It's pretty rough on the [my] eyes overall, i think. Looks like some components were taken out of context, like the poll, mailing list, and those buttons. Maybe integrating them with some sort of style or color scheme may make it look more together.

but the blue bothers me the most...and all 3 primary colors so blatently on one page has got to be illegal in some state.

sorry, i ragged on ya pretty hard...just my take.

ditto on the blue main screen...wow!! to bright
get rid of the poll on the main page.
optimize the graphics for faster loading.
the red text is hard to read on the blue-maybe make it larger or something

not bad tho...

its a bit too cluttered with forms and links and all that. Your site is in flash, but it isnt flash workable (flash sites are usually flashy!) you could have done the exact same with pure html/dhtml/javascript.

Good though.

Ads are very intrusive, you may want to go to a host which either adds no ads, or very small text links. You also probably want to actually have text on your page, rather than an image with text.
