The whole page just like black and white.
Try to make at least the title in color and put the technologies images that match to your domain name.

The title meaning "Welcome to techsomething.net" ?

edit: I started posting images along with news headlines, I think it helps the color deficit.

It is not bad at all... but it's maybe a little too plain...

The black background is far too heavy and distracts from the content.

And statements like this;

This website best viewed in Firefox Web Browser at 1280x1024 Resolution or higher
Should have been left in the 90's, especially on a tech site.

You think so? Only a quarter of the page is black, are you sure it loaded correctly?

I don't think its bad enough to deter viewers, but I do agree it probably isn't vital that I include that on every page.

edit: alright, message is gone.

It's the classic CMS look. I like it, but, as said above, it's a little too black and white.

Maybe when you hover on the menu items they could turn a darker blue color or something.

Good Job. But It would be better if u put your banner in the top black blank area. your banner (techsomething) is too fat, u might want to make it slim to fit in the top empty area.
It would be better if u use important keywords in the meta description more then meta key words.

Dark blue navigation would be to distracting in my opinion, however it is a little to black and white. I have changed the background colors for titles above news, website updates, and the footer. I personally think it looks a little more slick than just grey. However, another color suggestion would be nice.

Search engines like google and yahoo don't see Meta keywords, so it is better to keep all your important keywords in the title, description and the body if possible.

I don't care for the header.
