I can't lie, I came here because from the title of the thread, I thought "here we go - another YouTube clone". How wrong I was!
The site is quite professional, but more importantly, it allows you to search through lots of other video sites which is something that I really like.
If I had any criticism, it might be that on arrival, the site doesn't tell you what it actually is. When I opened the site, I was greeted with a search for Paris Hilton on YouTube. When I've just gone back now, it's hairspray. I've just checked and there is a description but my eyes were immediately drawn away from that to the actual search and I expect other people's eyes will also be drawn away.
Therefore, you should maybe make the home page just a display page of some popular videos from the different sites and make it easier to realise that the site is for searching videos from YouTube, Metacafe etc.
Also, I've just noticed that the header looks a bit distorted - the large white space in the middle is a bit of an eyesore and looks like it has been abruptly cut off. I also seem not to be able to open videos themselves unless I click ont eh pop up part underneath the video - many people will probably think there is something wrong with the site/their computer because they cannot open the video properly.
Overall, nice job. The colour is good and the design is on the whole OK too. Well done.
