Website Review and Suggestions

I've started to create a website that will contain all the information about websites (website creation, photo albums, web tutorials, web security, website monetizing and much more).

Please let me know what you think about my website (http://www.MyWebsiteAdviser.com). The website is still in progress.

A lot of people visit my first page and escape.

How can I improve it ?

I think that the site would look better if it didn't stretch the whole page length. It would also look nice if you could make the gradient at the top more smooth. I don't think that it looks very good all uneven like that.

I think that it would also be better if you could give some sample content on the front page, like a teaser with a link for more. Make the text there smaller too.

The text, by the way, would also look better in a sans-serif font.

The length as fine, I think the only thing that matters is that it fits any screen resolution, as yours clearly does.

I do agree with the gradient and colors on the top, smooth it out.

I think that the site of width should be big. and I think that you should add a online sample!

The header and font clearly aren't working. Bolder fonts are for emphasizing and that doesn't mean everything on the page.

The look is nice except for the header. You need a better font. Drop the www and .com

The site looks ok. But you could put a logo in your header instead of the www. MyWebsiteAdviser.com text. You can also experiment changing the colours of the body of your site to make it look more appealing. But the current colour is ok too. You can put the Add to favourites | Send to friend on the top right of your header instead of the top of the page.

I think you need more images on your page. dont put too many on, but you need something to draw the eye to the user. You need to produce an identify and as other people have suggested a logo would be good.

Content looks good, but draw the users eye to the content. What is your key feature? Determine this and then get the user focused on this. Once they like the site they will roam freely especially if the content is good.
