Please review my website http://www.hothelpdesk.com

I made the website with ASP.NET 2.0 + SQL 2005

Please be honest in what you post, negative feedback is just as good as positive imo so let me know your thoughts

Thanks for your help!

The header text needs to be on the header. It would be nice to see layout using CSS and <div> instead of all the <table> code.

You don't want LaydynRed to see a site like that, based on tables :P

Anyway, for anyone using 800x600 screen resolution still, the text on the header will spill out on top of the other content below it.

I like the menus on the side, but is it really necessary for people to retract the menus? The menus do not get in the way even when it is extended.

The only thing I hate about it is that I don't like how it opens a new window/tab for many of the links. I have 8 tabs open just from browsing through your site.

Visually, I feel like it's very plain and grayscale. Add a little bit of soft color instead of the gray, and I think you are on to something. Also, the left menu doesn't look like it matches up with the header and footer. There is a gap at the top and the color doesn't match at the bottom.

It seems like all of the customer service sites I go to have a picture of a business woman wearing a headset, but I don't think it's necessary to go that far. You may want to consider a logo or graphic of some sort, however.

Also, some of your links seem to bring up a completely different menu, and many of the links disappear, e.g., click on Help Desk from the main page.

And finally, you may want to consider a PayPal option in addition to credit cards for purchasing. As an online consumer myself, I prefer PayPal, but I guess I do use CC when I have to.

The menu really needs to be redone - take it back to basics and bin all that javascript.

The body text covers the entire browser window(100% less the sidebar). This is OK on small monitor but someone viewing on high resolution will have a single line of text spanning entire width making it difficult to read.

No use of heading H1 H2 etc . Needs a rethink.
