this is the second redesign in a matter of 6 months, I like to think that I got it better this time, but everyones opinion is very welcome

It seems that third column are useless/empty. I vote for deleteing it. Or you should add some content there...

it takes forever to load (may be the problem is my connection). I like the design

the color scheme is nice

the kitten is really cute but I don't think it is suitable for web design site's header (That's just my opinion) the code looks good

It takes long time to load partly because my server has problems and partly because there is the blogcatalog widget on the right side column .... I intend to change both pretty soon ... thanks for the mention though

I like the design of the site. As said above, unless there's more stuff in the last column you should get rid of it.

I've got to say that I have to agree with sheena on this - the site isn't as impressive as I'd expect it to be for a web design bloggy thing.

To me, the site looks like the average Wordpress theme that any guy off the street could pick up (I know you made it but that's my opinion).

What's the significance of the cat?

I'd say make the main column a bit larger and the other two a bit smaller for starters.

Definitely use the "More" feature to shorten posts or have less posts on the main page - I hate opening web sites/blogs that are excessively long and harder to scroll.

For SEO purposes, I'd also recommend you choose whether to use the www or non-www address and stick with it, redirecting the one to the other. If you are using an Apache server, details can be found in a tutorial I made a while ago here

thanks everyone for the suggestions and looking into this

I am fixing a few of the stuff you suggested

The significance of the cut is: its my cat, lots of other web design blogs have animals as the header ... its not a corporate site ... people can have a nice kitty in front (take a look at one of my favorite http://www.456bereastreet.com/ guy is a briliant designer and he has a locust on the header ?! what is the significance of that ?)

The more feature I had in mind implementing it and the www or non-www apparently it was dropped out of the htaccess by mistake I have to take it back
