Any general comments/criticism welcome!

-----Update--------------------
I changed the size of the text, the color of the links, and added spaces to the tutorial page. Any feedback would be great, especially on the link style.
---------------------------------

Some specific questions I have are:

What do you think of the design/color theme?

Is my content useful and easy to read/understand?

I have gotten my site listed in a few directories and my site is in Google, are there other things you would recommend I do other then add more content to promote my site?

Thanks so much!

The color scheme is a little bright for my taste, a user running a 60hz refresh rate would have some serious problems as well. Try throwing in a smoother, cooler color to tie it all in, or consider taking the darker orange out of the header.

Your font is to small, try throwing it up a few sizes, or consider changing to a thicker font like tahoma or arial.

I would center the content as well, but thats entirely my preference.

Your tutorials look great, I can think of quite a few times I would need this information, and a general forum wouldnt provide it. I would make a tutorial like "begginers guide to linux" one of the first on the page, or bolded at the top with something like start here written next to it.

Put a few spaces between your tutorials, and shorten the descriptions. Usually the title of the link would be fine.

The blue links dont exactly match your theme, if your going to keep the orange change it.

Otherwise, good concept, organized layout, and useful. Keep it up

I think it would look better if the links were a different color. The link itself, hove, visited and active. The colors now just don't match your colour scheme.

I would also change from the bright blue text, clashes with the orange.

I think the text on the home page would look better centered unless you have graphic material to fill the space such as illustration, photos or a side bar with information or updates.

Your content is good but I agree with TEB about making them shorter and to the point. A teaser would be fine. Give them just enough information to let them know it's what they are looking for.

Your site is very useful and I appreciate when people take time to do what you have done. I have learned almost everything I know from tutorials so you have my respect. Hats off to you.

The site is easy to navigate and the design is fairly simple.

I do think there is however a little to much orange, maybe add another color. Maybe add a tiny bit more complexity to the design or have it take up a little more room then on the top to make it more appealing. Over all nice job.

Thank you guys so much! I will get started implementing those changes ASAP. I had no idea how good the feedback would be.

I think I will experiment with changing the color of the top bar.

I will post again when I have implemented some of these changes.

Once again, thank you so much!

Ok, I changed the text size and the link color. I also added some spaces in the tutorial page. I am far from done with everything, but any comments on what I have done so far would be great, especially the links.

Thanks!
