Website Review and Suggestions

please all be extra critical of my site, as I am a web designer myself. I just want to see where my personal views on good design split with others.

Very nice site! I like how it looks a lot. The only thing that I would say you should do is make it so all of the menu button links are actually as high and wide as the boxes that they are in (I don't like having to get my mouse exactly on the text).

side nav under 'recent tutorials', 'Hit testing in AS3' - the graphic and text 'Ouch' are distorted and that's never a good thing when your writing tutorials on how to avoid that sort of thing.

Your colour scheme is nice and simple and I like the logo.

Home page under 'Search'- The first sentence is a run on and you have a typo -'the' is spelled 'thr'.

Home under 'Another new tutorial'- fourth sentence you use 'hit-testing', fifth sentence you use 'hittesting' and on the side nav you use 'hit testing'. There's no consistency there. I would pick one and stick with it.
Also used as 'Hittesting' in title right below and first word in the beginning sentence.

It's a nice site. I absolutely love tutorials and am always looking for good ones.

Good content, good categories.

I don't see a problem with the top nav.

On the point of hittesting/hit-testing/Hittesting and spelling mistake, I will change those.

You'd add a display: block; to the link. Then you add a height and width to it (making it the same as the box that they are in).

Oh very nice. Will get round to that tomorrow(ish) if it doesn't muck up any cross browser stuff. I'm sure it won't though.

Hi,

Your site is simple and clean, and i like it. I would only move menu to the left so it could be done before starts your right side, but that's just a tought, not too important. Also nice color scheme picked..

Really nice looking site. My only comment would be to make the nav buttons at the top highlight a when you roll the mouse over them.
