Hello All,
Few months ago we start generating our own snapshots for links in our Index
and then we start using CSS to open them in pop up window.
We would appreciate if you give us feedback, how these images are appearing
in different browsers. Just place your mouse over the thumb to see the effect.
Thanks for taking you time and for visiting

I like the layout. It looks pretty good.
One thing that I noticed is that you embedded a WMV video or something like that. You shouldn't embed something like that on an index page. If you're going to embed a video, do it in flash. I don't have WMP installed in FireFox right now. It came up with an error...
You can put those kind of videos in on another page.

Video you see is actually TV stations direct feed from MTV, Italy, Germany, Russia,
Brazil, and many other countries.
If you install Windows Media Player, you may have good time every time you visit our site

Your site is pretty cool. I definitely like the image preview. The navigation is pretty easy and intuitive. I really haven't any complaints. Very nice site.

I also think it looks nice, the features help your directory stand out .
The only thing that kind of bugs me about it is the video options, maybe you could have an on/off function for it or something, I don't always want to have sound blaring through my monitor without warning (Especially if it's MTV ).

OK, this'll be my first review, here...
Your top navigation has black on dark gray and light red on dark red, which is insufficient contrast even for me with good eyesight. Your links to the left of the slideshows would be better incorporated with the ones to the right of your logo and turned into buttons, also more visually appealing. And I'd give all of your adult links their own separate category; some would find it off-putting that they are interspersed in several categories.
The overall layout is very well-done, and I do think that much thought has been put into usability.

Really good picture pop-ups. I like the layout. But sometimes, in customized mozilla browsers, image top is invisible.

I get the same error. And sorry, but as a user, I'm not going to install a browser plugin for one particular web site. I won't usually let that stop me from looking around if there's other content I'm interested in, so it's not the end of the world.
The Google Map shows a gray rectangle, at least from my machine using FF 2 on Windows. There are + and - buttons, but they don't zoom the gray box. I assume that normally works, since others commented on it.
I hate the way links change bg color when you mouse over them. It makes me feel like I'm looking at a web site from the 1970s. And as people have already said, the overall design is much too good for this. Picking nits, but I don't like the Go button on your search ... it doesn't stand out enough.
The text " SEO Friendly Web Directory. Free web Submission to Search Engines and Web Directories" is just about hidden. It's black text drawn on a very dark gray shadow. At least in my browser.
The thumbnails and flyout images are great, though! How did you manage to get screen shots like that? Not manually, I hope?
I like the

To see the videos, all you need is M$ Media Player and since 99.9% of user already have one, the rest may have some problems. Sorry bout that

The G. Map should work at least you are behind firewall or using proxy then G. can’t read referrer and can’t show your location. Sometimes refreshing will do the job as well

The reason we made bg and link to change because CSS make text uniform, links get blended with text but we used color to show to people (the ones that still live in 70s) that there is a link.
As to search button, it was the whole idea

It takes about 40 hours for script to snap all the images, just imagine how long it will take to do that manually
Thanks Forrest

the logo looks a little washed out. the navigation on the top rioght doesn't really match i see a dark red color behind it then a rectangle box which is a lighter color get rid of the black and grey bar or change the color also the go button needs to be better readable. Overall its pretty good

I caught myself watching the video for a bit longer than I intended, nice concept but I would have enjoyed the experience more if there had of been a control panel I don't like autoplay vids but I think if you have them you should atleast have the option to pause it.
It is not easy to navigate through, finding myself going back and forth. I have to click on your logo and go back to the home page to view more pages. It would be nice to have a side nav menu on all of the pages.
Also, like Tim said, the colour contrast between the text & bg is difficult to read even with someone with good eyesight. Staring at a computer is hard on our eyes already, I don't strain my eyes to read something that doesn't stand out or is too small, I just simply skip over it.
Nice screenshot scripting.
Good Job! & Good luck with your site.

Actually this is not a Video per say, this is Live TV broadcast direct feed (you can’t pause it)
and the reason we removed Controls is because they are taking too much of screen real estate

That was the whole idea to make them to blend in and not to contrast too much in the background
Thanks for your review though
