Website Review and Suggestions

I've completed the redesign of my site that some people may have reviewed a week ago. Well the entire site is now online and I've got everything added.

I'm interested in your thoughts on the site now that I've added the content and links.

Hi Dan- I'm not fond of the colour, but at the end of the day it's functional and easy to navigate. I'd place <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"> into your code to suck it up flush to the top of the page.

content management makes or breaks a site. try changing the background behind each of the plans, adding single pixel borders, etc

I have to agree, I am not liking the color as much but your site is easy to navigate. I suggest putting and alt description on your image, this helps with SEO. I also suggest putting the copyright under the whole table rather than inside.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll have a think about the colour scheme, but I'm unsure about changing it due to the colour of my logo, which I'm not going to change.

I've added some new templates here (the links on the pages don't work though - these are just templates).

Tell me what you think and if you think any are improvements on the original. I didn't spend long on them so they're not great, but its just to see if any other colour scheme might work a bit better.

I like the site. Its functional, and to the point. I was bored and up last night Whym, and I made this for you, I have it in .psd, and its royalty free, and if you'd like any changes let me know. Its really just a rough draft, and just a sketch, and I felt it came out good.

I like the colour in template 4 the best. It still goes well with the logo and the menu.

The pictures on you site could use a little depth, maybe a thin border would help.

I agree with all.. Change the bg from brown and maybe a bit of work on the logo. The three package options at the bottom (cone, cube sphere) put a dotted border around them or something so its easier to distinguish. Otherwise its easy to navigate and nice and easy to read.

OK will do. I'm currently working with the new logo (thanks again for that) on a test template and I'll put a link up to it once I've had a play around with some colours. Thanks for the idea of a dotted line - I'll give that a try

I really like it with that logo. I think the colour is still just a little off. It would be nice if it were one of the shades of blue from the logo, like right below the 'M'. The new colours will match your front picture better as well.

Oh, yes. That's a much nicer colour. It would look nice if all of the colours used in the drop down menu integrated with the colours used in the logo as well.

Would you be opposed to adding a background pic - not an image just a background with blended colors?

I don't know the dimensions of your preference, but something like this would look nice.

on the current site? Or what I think should be done in 7?

Heres my scoop on 7:

1. server picture doesnt look good, you need to spruce it up a little more, its kind of big, and the white background looks amatuerish. You should put a picture next to each package with more/different servers for each. (hint:http://www.hostgator.com/)

2. Your third package starts on a new line and extends the page down a bit far.

3. Text is to white, change the color, font, and make it a little bigger.

Other than that, Id need to see the rest of the site running 7 to review it more.

But it looks 100% better than it did. especially the new logo.
