Website Review and Suggestions

hey all.. Im doing a site for a community.. updates, news, pictures, forum, user gallery etc. Please give me your reviews on these two templates. colors layout images etc. also on the main body i'd like to make the seperation between each article to be more vivid. like maybe a <HR> or a table bgcolor or something. thnx

Well on the first design site.jpg....

put some bullets on the left side menu......put an underline below the headings of the page content......The header title is more than enough in size....should be smaller in size like u did on the next design.

for the second design.

When the whole design theme is in blue shade then, why you used the logo in dark pink, the main heading on the top in black. Use either the whole theme with the mixture of dark pink with blue shade or whole design in blue shade....so that the consistency of the website will be looks more professional....

I found the first template to be more aesthetically pleasing.
I'm not quite sure what the message you want to give across is, but for some reason, perhaps the color, the first template kind of oozes a certain level of sexuality.
The second template, though for me has less character, may fit your message better.

Good starting points, on first jpeg I had a problem with understanding what the website is about, the design is compact and all goes together, however is the colour scheme right for the kind of audience it will be aimed at ?
Schocking pink is little girls colour and the site will be muslim women community forum, you may find it doesn't go together that well. The second design is more appropiate however I do agree that the pink logo doesn't go. Good points I did find out what the website is about.
And remember it is just an opinion
