I like your site. It's clean and easy to read.
However, if I didn't read your thread here I would have had no idea what was going on. Perhaps, you could make your description in the corner a little bigger, or add a little more so people can see it right away.
At first I thought maybe I was on a specific teams website because of the first article's title.
Also, I really like how the articles come up based on the day of the article, but again maybe a little blurb saying scroll over the calendar to receive articles for that date or something.
All in all it looks pretty good but you have to be prepared for the internet illiterate when you have sites everyone would be interested in and not just techies.

) The only suggestion is that the contributor list links should be organized somehow different - the list is too long and not neat
